Description
Small Kitchen
The kitchen is the hub of your home and that’s never been more true than with this little beaut. Much like her big sister the “SKF”, she boasts a clean minimal look at a glance and there’s allocated room for upgrades under the skin (which you can choose by the way).
This kitchen is the low spec, price conscious version of our “SKF”-small kitchen fridge (see our other listings). It ticks all the boxes for meeting the NZ self containment requirements for two people. There’s 25L of fresh and grey water storage, a sink and a manually hand pumped water tap. There is plenty of extra storage to suit your extravagant food storage and cooking utensil requirements.
There is also an electrical switch board / fuse panel area to safely stow the electrics that run your rig and an area to add a secondary battery when you feel it’s time to upgrade. The same goes
with the top left drawer, it can be swapped out by an Engle Drawer fridge when you get sick of your cheese melting.
Just like in all of our units, there’s built in touch sensitive dimmable warm lighting in all the spots where you’d otherwise be blindly rummaging. We have added a handy little volt meter into the splash back so you can keep an eye on your battery level as you might not have a secondary battery to begin with.
This unit is intended for smaller vans like Hiaces or similar but can be effortlessly scaled up to fit your requirements (within a certain range). We build to order so that we can achieve a perfect fit!
A well functioning kitchen is the necessity of successful van life.

Things to consider when choosing your options
The SKF (small kitchen fridge) already contains all the above mentioned upgrades. It is absolutely packed with features for a unit this size, So if you’re considering upgrading this unit then maybe also consider choosing the SKF to begin with to save time adding upgrades later.
If you’ve decided to assemble and install yourself a basic but solid knowledge of electrical and plumbing skills is a must have, we strongly encourage making sure you have some extra tools on hand and enough time to not be in a rush. Think carefully about each task before doing it and have fun!
Our self assembly kitset option is not any cheaper as there are many time consuming tasks for us to ensure that you get the best possible instructions via correspondence to measure and assemble your units correctly. We will be spending valuable one on one video time with you making sure you follow our measure up procedures before we begin the manufacturing process. We will also be there when you need us to help guide you through the assembly as well as preparing video tutorials for you.
